Why should you get to know Innerlight?

Aside from my chiselled good looks (bums, forgot there is a photo at the top) my primary defining characteristic is I am a single dad. If you are the sort of person that has ever called children ‘baggage’ then this is the point for you to go off and look at another profile. My girls certainly don’t weigh me down and are a source of constant joy. I’ve been bringing them up on my own for the last two years but I’m equally at home with a screwdriver and hammer as I am with the bedtime story.

I am a master of the last minute and usually leave the house in a rush collecting up schoolbags before cycling off to work. I do have a car but like Orwell wrote (I think) “two wheels good four wheels bad”. I’m pretty bright and have the usual collection of qualifications including a PhD. I’ve forgotten most of it but if you ever have problems sleeping I could try and remember some of it for you.

I try and fit in as much exercise as I can which usually involves the triathlon disciplines of swimming, cycling and running (most days). However, I don’t get the chance to compete apart from occasional running races at distances up to half marathon. The kids come too but we also enjoy walking, running, swimming, cycling and climbing trees together.

So if you love children, don’t feel the mugshot too off-putting, feel you could fit into the chaos or possibly bring some order to it and maybe if you have trouble sleeping then get in touch.

I could provide a long list of what I think I want from a partner but I know enough about relationships to realise that it usually comes down to chemistry. Having said that I believe I’m looking for intelligence with a smile. Someone with opinions backed up with independent thought. If that lady is also witty, funny, subtle, a non-couch potato and loves children (especially mine) then we may just pass the litmus test.
